following the Essence Serum. • Cetyl palmitate naturally occurring fatty acid found in
plants. It is an emollient that lubricates and conditions the
skins surface
• Alpha arbutin promotes lightening/whitening and
an even skin tone. Works by inhibiting the oxidation of
tyrosine, thus melanin production thus preventing hyper
pigmentation
• Lactic acid a widely known AHA. Accelerates the
sloughing process
• Sorbitol humectant
• Simmondsia chinesis oil emollient that cause rapid
penetration and reduces water loss
• Theobroma cacao seed very high emollient properties
with soothing effects
• Carnosine composed of amino acids, it has antioxidant
and anti-inflammatory properties
• Soy isoflavones increase skin thickness, collagen and
elastin
• Silybum marianum fruit extract (milk thistle) high in
antioxidant properties that scavenge free radicals. Also has anti-inflammatory effects.
